Overview
The Sungrow iHomeManager is the energy manager for homes with Sungrow inverters: a DIN-rail or wall module of 108 x 97 x 65 mm (under 800 g, IP20) with a built-in three-phase meter (class 1) and three external 100 A CTs in the box. Based on PV forecast, consumption analysis and local tariffs it controls battery, EV charger and heat pump; dynamic tariffs (NordPool, OTE, OMIE), peak shaving and phase-by-phase export limitation are supported. A separate energy meter is then not needed.

Up to 7 devices (system power up to 50 kW, up to 5 inverters, 1 EV charger and 1 heat pump) or up to 15 Sungrow SG microinverters. According to the Sungrow compatibility list (version 4.4, July 2026) the iHomeManager works with the SH5.0-10RT-20 and SH5.0-10RT (V11 and V112) with SBR battery, the SH5.0-25T with SBR or SBH battery, the SH3.0-6.0RS with SBS or SBR battery and the SG5.0-20RT, up to five inverters, and with the AC22E-01 and AC22E-G2 chargers. The AC007E-01 and AC011E-01 do not work with an iHomeManager that is added later; they then stay stand-alone.
Communication via 2 x RS485, Ethernet and WLAN (2.4 GHz), with Modbus TCP/RTU and SunSpec; 5 digital inputs (including ripple control and EnWG 14a) and 2 relay outputs. Supply 230/415 Vac, max. 9 W.
