The Sungrow EMS300CP is the site controller for commercial and industrial storage systems such as the PowerStack. Functions according to the datasheet: self-consumption, time plans, feed-in limitation, peak shaving, virtual meter, overload protection, dynamic capacity expansion, P/Q/PF control, SOC management, emergency backup and coordinated control of PV, storage, EV chargers and generator. According to Exact this version is intended for the ST225CS-2H; on the PowerStack the EMS300CP is an option built into the cabinet's power distribution box.

According to the Sungrow compatibility list one EMS300CP controls up to 25 PowerStack cabinets; PV plus storage additionally requires Logger1000 loggers. Third-party EMS can connect via Modbus RTU/TCP.
Housing 440 x 44 x 224 mm, 3 kg, IP20. Power supply 100 to 264 V AC or 24 V DC. Seven RS485 ports, two Ethernet ports (10/100 Mbps), 16 DI / 4 DO and 4 analogue inputs; protocols IEC 60870-5-104 and Modbus RTU/TCP; monitoring and updates via iSolarCloud. Certification CE, IEC 62443-4-2 and EN 18031.
