Overview
The Hyxi HYX-DCS-WL is the data communication stick (DCS) for Hyxi string and hybrid inverters. The stick plugs with its USB connector into the communication port underneath the inverter and sends the data via Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n, 2.4 GHz) or 10/100M Ethernet to the Hyxi platform and app. Hyxi specifies up to 10 inverters per stick and a 5-minute data interval (configurable from 1 to 15 minutes).

For sites without Wi-Fi or a network cable there is the HYX-DCS-4G with a SIM card. Hyxi microinverters use built-in Wi-Fi or the HYX-DMU gateway instead of a DCS. Local configuration runs via the stick's AP mode (press reset three times) and the Hyxi app; software updates, parameter settings and fault analysis are possible remotely, data is encrypted and resumed after an interruption.
Dimensions 144 × 41 × 33 mm, 68 g, IP65, consumption 1 W at 5 V/1 A, operation from -30 to +65 °C. Hyxi provides a 2-year warranty on the DCS.
