Overview
The Hyxi HYX-DCS-4G is the data communication stick (DCS) for Hyxi string and hybrid inverters at sites without Wi-Fi or a network cable. The stick plugs with its USB connector into the communication port underneath the inverter and sends the data over the mobile network (4G LTE FDD/TDD, fallback to 3G and 2G GSM/GPRS) to the Hyxi platform and app; the SIM card goes into the stick. Hyxi specifies up to 10 inverters per stick and a 5-minute data interval (configurable from 1 to 15 minutes).

For a connection via Wi-Fi or Ethernet there is the HYX-DCS-WL. Hyxi microinverters use built-in Wi-Fi or the HYX-DMU gateway instead of a DCS. Software updates, parameter settings and fault analysis are possible remotely, data is encrypted and resumed after an interruption.
Dimensions 122 × 41 × 33 mm, 64 g, IP65, consumption 2 W at 5 V/1 A, operation from -30 to +65 °C. Hyxi provides a 2-year warranty on the DCS.
