Overview
The Hyxi HYX-EF215P2-M is the Air ESS commercial battery with a built-in MPPT module: besides 215 kWh of storage and a 100 kW power conversion system (PCS), the air-cooled outdoor cabinet has a direct PV input with two MPPTs of 50 kW each (310 to 650 V, max. 672 V and 165 A per MPPT). According to the datasheet up to eight cabinets run in parallel on-grid (up to 800 kW/1.72 MWh) and up to four off-grid (up to 400 kW/860 kWh). For single-unit on- and off-grid operation with PV input there is the HYX-EF215P2-MS.

Battery: 215 kWh LiFePO4 (280 Ah cells, 1P240S, 768 V nominal, 672 to 864 V), 6000 cycles to 70 percent EOL. AC side 3L/N/PE 400/230 V, 50/60 Hz, 100 kW nominal and 110 kVA maximum, 145 A nominal and 160 A maximum. The EMS is built in and supports MQTT and IEC104, among other things for peak shaving, valley filling, demand control and backup; networking via Wi-Fi, LAN and optional 4G.
Air-cooled outdoor cabinet of 1730 × 2200 × 1170 mm and 3000 kg, IP54, separated battery and electrical compartments, aerosol fire suppression, operation from -20 to +50 °C up to 2000 m altitude. Hyxi provides a 5-year warranty.
