Overview
The Hoymiles DTU-Pro-S is the data gateway for Hoymiles microinverters with Sub-1G communication, such as the HMS, HMT, MiS and MiT series. It collects data from up to 99 modules over a distance of up to 400 m in open space and sends it every 5 minutes to S-Miles Cloud via Ethernet (RJ45) or Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Not suitable for the HMS models with built-in Wi-Fi (HMS-xxxW-1T/2T and HMS-DW-4T) or the MIT-4000/4500/5000-8E.

For peripherals the gateway has an RS485 port (Modbus-RTU), an Ethernet port with Modbus-TCP and a DRM port. It supports module-level monitoring with data storage, zero export and export limiting, generation and consumption monitoring and remote maintenance such as firmware updates and parameter settings. Commissioning is done locally with the S-Miles Installer app.
Dimensions 200 x 101 x 29 mm (without antennas), 0.20 kg, wall or desk mounting, IP20 for indoor use and an ambient range of -20 to +55 °C. Powered by an external adapter (100-240 V AC, 5 V / 2 A); consumption typically 1.5 W, maximum 3.0 W. Certifications: CE, FCC, IC, RCM and Anatel. Hoymiles provides a 3-year warranty on DTUs under its EU warranty terms.
