Overview
The Hoymiles DTU-Pro-4G is the data gateway that collects the Sub-1G signals of up to 99 modules (HMS, HMT, MIS and MIT microinverters (not the MIT-8E or the HMS-xT models with built-in communication)) and forwards them to S-Miles Cloud over 4G LTE plus Ethernet RJ45, RS485 Modbus-RTU, Modbus-TCP, DRM. Open-field range is 400 m and readings are sent every 5 min. RS485 and Modbus-TCP link it to energy management and the DRM port covers grid-operator requirements.

Without a gateway a Hoymiles microinverter roof stays invisible to monitoring, so this unit belongs with every set of for example Hoymiles HMS-800-2T, Hoymiles HMS-1600-4T and MIS-800-2T. Choose the 4G variant where no Wi-Fi or wired network is available, using an installer or customer SIM card.
Dimensions 200 x 101 x 29 mm and 0.20 kg, mounting wall or desk, IP20 indoor, powered by an external 5 V / 2 A adapter on 100 to 240 V AC with a typical draw of 1 W. Operating range -20 to +55 °C, CE certified.
