Overview
The Hoymiles DDSU666 + 100a ct is the single-phase Chint DDSU666 energy meter with a matching current transformer of 100 A, as Hoymiles prescribes for the HYS and HAS inverters. The meter sits at the grid connection point and measures import and export, so the inverter knows how much it may charge, discharge or feed in.

The 100 A CT covers nearly every residential connection up to 3 x 80 A. It belongs with Hoymiles HYS-3.0LV-EUG1 and HAS-3.0LV-EUG1 and talks RS485 Modbus-RTU to the inverter; without a meter, zero-export and self-consumption control do not work.
The meter is a 2-module DIN-rail housing for the distribution board, 230 V, 50 Hz, accuracy class 1. Split-core CTs clip around the phase conductors without interrupting the installation.
