Overview
The Hoymiles Flex-S3 Extension Connector (model S3-EC-EN, formerly HMS Extension Connector) extends the cable run when the distance between two microinverters exceeds the standard length of a Flex-S3 connection cable. Together with trunk connectors it lets you build a custom AC trunk.

The Flex-S3 cable system (formerly the HMS cable system) is the plug-and-play AC cabling for single-phase Hoymiles HMS microinverters. Its connectors are 2P+PE, 300 V and 40 A, IP68 and UL 94-V0, suitable for conductors up to 6 mm² and cable up to 16.5 mm outer diameter at -40 to +85 °C (IEC 61984); the connection cables are H07RN-F (450 V) in 2.5, 4 or 6 mm².
Use the extension connector with Flex-S3 connection cables of the same series; it is not intended for the three-phase 3P-AC trunk of the HMT series.
