Overview
The Sungrow SBS050 is a 5.12 kWh LFP high-voltage battery module (102.4 V nominal, operating voltage 86.4 to 116.8 V) with prismatic LiFePO4 cells and up to 100% usable capacity (depth of discharge settable). According to Sungrow a single module supports up to 5 kW off-grid output; 1 to 4 modules are connected in parallel up to 20.48 kWh, without a separate junction box.

Use: single-phase Sungrow SH-RS hybrids. According to the Sungrow compatibility list the SBS050 works with the SH3.0-6.0RS from hardware version V13 (not with V11 units with Sunclix connector); the manual also names the SH-RS-20 series. Continuous 30 A charge and 50 A discharge, max. 50 A; limited to 30 A in combination with the SH3.0-6.0RS. Communication with the inverter via CAN.
Module 515 x 780 x 182 mm, 58 kg, IP65 for indoor and outdoor use, floor or wall mounting, natural convection. Charging at 0 to 55 °C, discharging at -20 to 55 °C. Certificates UN 38.3 and IEC 62619; 10-year warranty per the Sungrow warranty letter.
