Overview
The Sungrow PowerStack ST225CS-2H (ST225kWh-110kW-2h) is a liquid-cooled C&I storage system for 2-hour applications: 110 kW PCS and 229 kWh nominal capacity in one outdoor cabinet of 1150 x 2450 x 1610 mm and 3100 kg. Battery, PCS (max. efficiency 98.5%), liquid cooling and fire protection (flammable-gas detector, smoke and heat detectors, alarm sounder, aerosol and sprinkler) are integrated and pre-installed. LFP cells 3.2 V / 280 Ah in 256S1P, DC range 691.2 to 934.4 V, AC 400 V. This version (option 2) uses CALB cells type L173F280A (280 Ah); according to the Sungrow manual the system data are the same as for the version with CATL cells.

Applications: peak shaving, load shifting on dynamic tariffs, higher PV self-consumption and backup. In off-grid mode up to 10 cabinets run in parallel with 100% unbalanced load capacity; according to the datasheet an additional transformer cabinet is required for this. Control via the optional EMS300CP, built into the system's power distribution box, or via a third-party EMS over Modbus.
IP55, corrosion class C5 (default), operating temperature -30 to 50 °C (derating above 45 °C), cell temperature difference max. 2.5 °C, noise max. 70 dB at 1 m, communication via Ethernet and Modbus TCP, monitoring in iSolarCloud. According to the Sungrow C&I ESS warranty terms (version 2026-08-19) the PowerStack ST225kWh-110kW-2h has a 5-year standard product warranty and a performance warranty of 70 % of nominal energy up to 6500 full cycles at 90 % DoD or at most 10 years.
