Overview
The Sungrow PowerStack ST255CS-2H is a liquid-cooled C&I storage system for 2-hour applications: 125 kW DC/AC converter and 257 kWh nominal capacity in one outdoor cabinet of 1150 x 2450 x 1610 mm and max. 3200 kg. LFP cells 3.2 V / 314 Ah in 256S1P, DC range 691.2 to 934.4 V, depth of charge and discharge 0 to 100%, AC 400 V three-phase (3P4L), conversion efficiency up to 98.5%.

The system supports on-grid, off-grid and automatic switching, with 100% unbalanced load capacity off-grid; according to the datasheet max. 25 cabinets in parallel on-grid and 20 off-grid. Applications: peak shaving, load shifting on dynamic tariffs, higher PV self-consumption and backup. Control via the optional EMS300CP in the cabinet or a third-party EMS via Modbus.
IP55, corrosion class C4 (default, C5 optional), -30 to 50 °C (derating above 45 °C), cell temperature difference max. 2.5 °C, noise max. 65 dB at 1 m. Fire protection with combustible-gas detector, smoke and heat detectors, alarm sounder and hot-aerosol extinguishing; an explosion vent panel is optional. Communication via Ethernet and Modbus TCP, monitoring in iSolarCloud. According to the Sungrow C&I ESS warranty terms (version 2026-08-19) the standard product warranty is 5 years, extendable to at most 15 years, with a performance warranty of at least 65 % of nominal energy up to 8760 full cycles at 100 % DoD, provided the system is connected to iSolarCloud and maintained per the manual.
