Overview
The Sungrow PowerStack ST245CS-S-2H is the DC-coupled version of the liquid-cooled PowerStack: a battery cabinet without its own PCS with 249 kWh nominal in 248S1P LFP cells of 3.2 V / 314 Ah and a DC range of 669 to 880 V. The cabinet connects to the battery port of the Sungrow SH125CX hybrid C&I inverter (125 kW, battery 129 to 880 V, 200 A charge and discharge, max. 250 kWp PV), which switches to backup within 10 ms during a grid outage.

According to the Sungrow compatibility list max. 250 kWh applies per SH125CX; up to 24 SH125CX with PowerStack can run in parallel on-grid, max. 2 in off-grid or backup mode. Each system uses a Logger1000 (A, B or A-EU); above 24 units a master/slave setup with several loggers is required. For AC-coupled storage with a built-in PCS there are the PowerStack ST225CS-2H and ST255CS-2H.
IP55 outdoor cabinet of 1150 x 2450 x 1610 mm and max. 2800 kg, corrosion class C5, -30 to 50 °C (derating above 40 °C), max. 65 dB at 1 m, external auxiliary supply. Liquid cooling keeps the cell temperature difference at max. 2.5 °C; fire protection with combustible-gas detector, smoke and heat detectors, alarm sounder and hot-aerosol extinguishing. Communication via Ethernet and Modbus TCP, monitoring in iSolarCloud. According to the Sungrow C&I ESS warranty terms (version 2026-08-19) the standard product warranty is 5 years, extendable to at most 15 years, with a performance warranty of at least 65 % of nominal energy up to 8760 full cycles at 100 % DoD, provided the system is connected to iSolarCloud and maintained per the manual.
