Overview
The Dyness HV9637S is the LFP battery module of the Dyness Tower S3: 3.552 kWh, 96 V and 37 Ah, 380 x 240 x 504 mm (w x h x d), 40 kg and IP54. Two to six modules under one Dyness Tower BDU S3 form the TS7 to TS21: 7.10 to 21.31 kWh nominal and 6.745 to 20.245 kWh usable at 95 percent DoD, with 6000 cycles (0.2C, 25 °C, 70 percent end of life).

With communication to the inverter the tower charges and discharges continuously at 0.6C, from 4.26 kW for a TS7 to 12.78 kW for a TS21, over CAN or RS485. According to the Dyness compatibility list of 28 May 2026 the Tower S3 works with the Solinteg MHT-4K~12K-25 and MHT-10K~20K-40 (TS7 to TS21), the Solinteg MHS-3K~8K-30 (TS7 to TS14) and the Hoymiles HYT-HV and HAT-HV (TS10 to TS17).
Dyness states that Tower S3 and the classic Tower must not be mixed, so use the HV9637S only with the BDU S3. Up to 12 Tower S3 clusters can run in parallel, all of the same model and capacity, and a new cluster must be added within 6 months of the existing one.
