Overview
The Hoymiles HYT-6.0HV-EUG1 is a three-phase hybrid inverter of 6000 W (6600 VA) for high-voltage batteries of 170 to 600 V (Li-ion) with up to 20 A charge and discharge current (6000 W); charging follows the battery BMS via CAN. The PV side has 2 MPPTs for 2 strings with 14/14 A input current (short-circuit current 17/17 A), a recommended PV power up to 9000 Wp, an MPPT range of 200 to 950 V, a start-up voltage of 250 V and a maximum input voltage of 1000 V.

On grid failure the backup output (3L/N/PE) switches over within 10 ms; it supplies 6000 W continuously and briefly 12000 VA for 10 s, and according to Hoymiles the output can be loaded 100 percent unbalanced across the phases. According to the manual, a three-phase smart meter with three 100 A CTs and a DTS stick are in the accessory box; for grid currents above 100 A another meter or CT is needed via Hoymiles. Hoymiles' compatible battery list (REV3.10) includes Hoymiles HB-(10-23)S-G2, BYD HVS/HVM, Dyness PowerRack HV and Tower T7-T17, and Pylontech Force H. Maximum efficiency 98.0 percent, EU efficiency 97.1 percent, maximum output current 10.0 A per phase.
Enclosure 502 × 486 × 202 mm (W × H × D), 26.5 kg, IP65, natural convection, noise below 40 dB, wall mounting, -25 to +65 °C (derating above 45 °C). Transformerless on the PV and battery side, up to 10 inverters in parallel, RS485 and optional Wi-Fi or Ethernet via DTS, DRM with one DI and two DO. Compliant with EN 50549, VDE-AR-N 4105, TOR Erzeuger Type A and IEC 62109-1/-2. Hoymiles grants 10 years of warranty on this storage inverter in Europe.
