The AEG AS-BBL08-6.0K is an AC-coupled micro energy storage system for homes: the AS-BBL08-3.0K AC unit with integrated inverter and a 3.0 kWh LiFePO4 battery, extended by the AS-BML08-3.0K battery module. Together the system reaches 6.0 kWh rated capacity (6.028 kWh) at 90 percent DoD, with a maximum charge and discharge power of 3.0 kW and 3 kVA maximum AC apparent power.

The nominal grid-connected output is set to 800 W by default and can be raised to 1500 W as a premium function, provided local regulations allow it and an authorised person enables it.
The carbon-coloured housing measures 460 × 575.5 × 281 mm (W × H × D) and weighs 54 kg. The system is IP66, floor-standing, naturally cooled and operates from -20 to 55 °C. Communication runs over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, with LED and app as display; CAN connects to the battery module. The battery achieves more than 10,000 cycles (60 percent EOL at 25 °C). AEG grants a 10-year product warranty and a 15-year lifespan warranty (or 10,000 cycles, whichever comes first).
