Overview
The AEG AS-BML08-3.0K is the battery module of the AS-BBL08 series: 3.0 kWh of LiFePO4 storage without its own inverter. Together with the AS-BBL08-3.0K AC unit, the module doubles the capacity from 3.0 to 6.0 kWh and the maximum charge and discharge power from 1.5 to 3.0 kW; AEG names that combination AS-BBL08-6.0K.

The module measures 460 × 296.5 × 274 mm (W × H × D) and weighs 26 kg; the AC unit itself measures 460 × 279 × 281 mm and weighs 28 kg. Communication with the AC unit runs over CAN. The LiFePO4 cells achieve more than 10,000 cycles (60 percent EOL at 25 °C). For the AS-BBL08 series AEG grants a 10-year product warranty and a 15-year lifespan warranty (or 10,000 cycles, whichever comes first).
