Overview
At 1 kW, the KSTAR BluE-G 1000S-M1 is the smallest model of the single-phase BluE-G S range, which the datasheet lists at 1000, 1500, 2000 and 3000 W. It is the only one in that range that starts at 60 V, and its MPPT range also begins at 60 V (up to 560 V); the input withstands up to 600 V DC. One MPPT takes one string with up to 13 A input current and 15.6 A short-circuit current.

On the grid side it delivers 1000 W nominal and up to 1100 VA at 230 V L-N and 50/60 Hz (±5 Hz), with a maximum output current of 4.8 A and a power factor from 0.8 lagging to 0.8 leading. Maximum efficiency is 97.0 percent and European efficiency 96.5 percent; KSTAR states a DC/AC ratio of up to 1.5.
The transformerless enclosure measures 350 × 290 × 120 mm, weighs 7.3 kg, is rated IP66 and is cooled by natural convection; operation from -25 to +60 °C up to 4000 m altitude. A DC switch, anti-islanding, output overcurrent and reverse-polarity protection, insulation detection, AC short-circuit protection and type III surge protection on DC and AC are built in. The AC output connects via a quick connector. Communication via RS-485 and Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi logger standard, 4G logger optional), operation via LCD and Bluetooth app. KSTAR gives a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty on this on-grid inverter.
