Overview
At 8 kW, the KSTAR BluE-G 8000D is the largest model of the single-phase BluE-G D range and the only one with fan cooling. Of the two MPPTs, PV1 takes up to 26 A (31 A short-circuit current) and can be split over two strings with Y-connectors; PV2 takes 16 A (19 A short-circuit current). Start voltage 100 V, MPPT range 80–540 V, up to 600 V DC.

The output delivers 8000 W nominal and up to 8000 VA at 230 V L-N and 50/60 Hz (±5 Hz), with a maximum output current of 35 A and a power factor from 0.8 lagging to 0.8 leading. KSTAR states a DC/AC ratio of up to 1.5.
The transformerless enclosure measures 380 × 380 × 150 mm and weighs 13 kg; IP65, fan cooling, operation from -25 to +60 °C up to 4000 m altitude. A DC switch, anti-islanding, output overcurrent and reverse-polarity protection, insulation detection, AC short-circuit protection and type III surge protection on DC and AC are built in; the AC output uses a quick connector. Communication via RS-485 and Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi logger standard, 4G logger optional), operation via LCD and Bluetooth app. KSTAR gives a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty on this on-grid inverter.
