Overview
The Hyxi HYX-M400-SW is a 1-in-1 microinverter rated 400 VA for one PV module in the 320-600+ Wp class, with one MPPT. Each input takes a maximum input current of 16 A (short-circuit current 20 A); the MPPT range is 16 to 60 V, the maximum input voltage 65 V and the start-up voltage 20 V. The output is single-phase 220/230/240 V, 50/60 Hz, with 1.74 A nominal current at 230 V; peak efficiency 96.7 percent, MPPT efficiency 99.8 percent and less than 30 mW night-time consumption.

This SW version has built-in Wi-Fi and sends its data via the router to the Hyxi platform, without a DMU gateway. The version with Sub-1G communication via a HYX-DMU is the HYX-M400-S. Hyxi specifies at most 16 units per 10AWG branch and 12 per 12AWG branch at 230 V; local rules take precedence. The grid code is set in the Hyxi app.
Enclosure 188 × 178 × 25 mm (W × H × D), 1.7 kg, IP67, natural cooling without fans and operation from -40 to +65 °C. High-frequency transformer with galvanic isolation, built-in relay for physical disconnection, input reverse polarity protection, output overcurrent, overvoltage and short-circuit protection and anti-islanding. Certified to EN 50549-1 with Dutch deviations; 12-year standard warranty, optionally 25 years according to the datasheet.
