Overview
The Hoymiles HYS-4.6LV-EUG1 is a single-phase hybrid inverter of 4600 W (4600 VA) for 48 V low-voltage batteries: battery voltage 40 to 60 V, Li-ion or lead-acid, with up to 100 A charge and discharge current via CAN. The PV side has 2 MPPTs and 2 strings with 14 A per MPPT, a recommended PV power up to 7500 Wp, an MPPT range of 125 to 500 V and a maximum input voltage of 550 V.

On grid failure the backup output switches within 10 ms and briefly supplies 9200 VA for 10 s, provided PV and battery power are sufficient. Hoymiles' compatible battery list includes the Hoymiles LB-(5-20)S-G1 and the Dyness DL5.0C and Powerbox G2. According to the manual, a smart meter with CT and a DTS communication module are in the accessory box. MPPT efficiency 99.9 percent, maximum 97.6 percent, EU efficiency 97.0 percent.
Enclosure 502 × 461 × 202 mm, 24 kg, IP65, natural convection, wall mounting, -25 to +65 °C (derating above 45 °C). RS485 and optional Wi-Fi, Ethernet or 4G; DRM, one DI and two DO. Compliant with EN 50549, VDE-AR-N 4105 and IEC 62109-1/-2. Hoymiles grants 10 years of warranty on this storage inverter in Europe.
