Overview
The Hoymiles HAS-3.0LV-EUG1 is a single-phase AC-coupled storage inverter of 3000 W (3000 VA) without a PV input, designed to add a battery to an existing PV installation. It charges and discharges a 48 V battery (40 to 60 V, Li-ion or lead-acid) at up to 75 A (3000 W) and communicates with the BMS via CAN; Hoymiles recommends lead-acid only for experienced installers.

On grid failure the backup output switches over within 10 ms; it supplies 3000 W continuously and briefly 3300 VA for 10 s. According to the manual, an AC-coupled system needs two smart meters: one meter with CT is in the accessory box, the second is ordered separately from Hoymiles. A DTS communication stick and a communication box are also supplied. Hoymiles' compatible battery list (REV3.10) includes the Hoymiles LB-(5-20)S-G1 and the Dyness DL5.0C and Powerbox G2. Maximum efficiency 95.2 percent, maximum output current 13.0 A.
Enclosure 502 × 461 × 202 mm (W × H × D), 21 kg, IP65, natural convection, wall mounting, -25 to +65 °C (derating above 45 °C). High-frequency isolation towards the battery, up to 10 inverters in parallel, RS485 and optional Wi-Fi, Ethernet or 4G via DTS, DRM with one DI and two DO. Compliant with EN 50549, VDE-AR-N 4105, TOR Erzeuger Type A and IEC 62109-1/-2. Hoymiles grants 10 years of warranty on this storage inverter in Europe.
