Overview
The Cobalt east-west support L=2450 mm (art. 1212450) is the base support of the Cobalt flat-roof system in east-west layout: the central upright carries the high side of two opposing modules. According to Cobalt, a complete east-west installation is built from just four basic parts and the aerodynamic design needs a minimum of ballast. The supports are supplied pre-assembled and couple tool-free with a twist-and-click connection. The standard centre distance is 2450 mm, for modules up to 1140 mm wide; a shorter version (art. 1212380) is available for narrower modules. Modules with frames of 30 to 45 mm are clamped at a minimum of 4.5 Nm, and the array edges are closed with the landscape/east-west side plate. Ballast carriers and ballast plan follow from CoBuilder; because the system is coupled, ballast is not needed under every module. Material according to Cobalt: Magnelis steel and recycled UV-stable PP. Warranty: 20 years under the Cobalt warranty conditions.
