Overview
The Cobalt portrait trapezoidal mounting L=250 mm (art. 4100250) is the short aluminium profile of the Cobalt Steeldeck system for vertical (portrait) module mounting on trapezoidal and profiled steel roofs. A mounting is placed under every clamp, between modules and at the end of a row; it does not have to be exactly centred under the clamp, but keep at least 15 mm between the end of the clamp and the end of the profile. Each mounting is fixed with the two supplied thin sheet metal screws at a minimum of 5 Nm; these screws are intended for sheet material up to 1.5 mm. Middle and end clamps are also tightened to 5 Nm, with 12 mm between modules. The system is designed for roof pitches of 10 to 70 degrees and frames of 30 to 45 mm; keep at least 300 mm clear of roof edge and ridge and provide a thermal break after at most 21 m. Warranty: 20 years under the Cobalt warranty conditions.
