The Cobalt 6 x 38 self-drilling screw is the sheet screw for trapezoidal and corrugated roofs: it drills through steel sheet without pre-drilling, seals with the EPDM washer under the head and holds Cobalt trapezoidal profiles, brackets and short pieces in place.

Choose 6 x 25 for fixing into thin sheet and 6 x 38 when the screw has to reach through sheet and insulation into the purlin. Drive at low speed until the washer just compresses. Matching Cobalt parts: cobalt Smeltschroef 6 x 25, Landscape damwandprofiel (incl. 2 schroeven) and Portrait damwand korte stukjes (L=394mm).
For steel roofs Cobalt (Ochten, Netherlands) supplies water-blocking fixings with integrated cable management, so rails and profiles land on purlin or sheet without leaks.
