Overview
The Cobalt ballast-free adapter (flat roof), art. 9903000, belongs to the ballast-free Cobalt flat-roof system: instead of ballast containers and ballast, the system is anchored mechanically with roof anchors or adhesive anchors. The flat-roof system is first built according to the standard manual up to the ballast stage. The mounting rails are then placed in the adapter part of the roof or adhesive anchors. The ballast-free adapter is positioned where the base profile and mounting rail cross, with the rail square to the base profile, and fixed to both profiles with three thin sheet metal screws 6 x 25 mm (art. 6516025) at 4 Nm. After the rail has been adjusted and secured (16 Nm), it must be under slight pretension without lifting the feet off the roof. The number and position of the anchors follow from the anchoring plan in CoBuilder: one anchor centred between two supports or two anchors 300 mm from each support. Warranty: 20 years under the Cobalt warranty conditions.
