Overview
The Cobalt Inverter home 1500 (PV shelter) is a pre-assembled frame for mounting inverters and batteries safely and quickly on the roof. The devices are screwed to the screw beams, which are height-adjustable and can be repositioned later. The frame is assembled with bolted connections (M10, 15 and 17 mm spanners, 16 to 28 Nm according to the manual). This version is free-standing with a single roof: one roof section is placed over the ridge and secured with M10 bolts. According to the manual the free-standing version is 1615 mm high, with a 1500 mm base and a width from 1530 mm. In the free-standing version the frame stands on feet and ballast carriers are screwed to the feet. The required ballast per side is given in the ballast table of the manual, depending on roof height (3 to 18 m), wind zone and terrain category; greater heights or unfavourable wind may require additional anchoring, and roof and insulation must be suitable for the point loads. Have the roof checked in advance for the additional load and keep at least 300 mm from the roof edge; for buildings below 5 m this may be reduced where regulations allow. Warranty: 20 years under the Cobalt warranty conditions.
