Overview
The Cobalt PVC cuff (art. 9507200) seals the penetration of a Cobalt roof anchor on roofs with PVC roofing. The cuff is centred above the roof anchor and bonded to the roof membrane by the roofer in line with the roofing manufacturer's instructions. The M10 threaded rod is then fitted into the anchor and the nut above the water seal is tightened until the seal is compressed by at least 1 mm (generally 16 Nm). Cobalt advises ordering the cuff that matches the roofing and, if the roof is still under warranty, having that roofer process it; cuffs must always be processed by a certified roofer (BRL 4702 / VCA). According to the manual PVC requires a bonding width of at least 90 mm. Application: rail systems on pitched (bitumen) roofs and the ballast-free Cobalt flat-roof system; quantities and positions follow from CoBuilder. Warranty on the Cobalt system: 20 years under the Cobalt warranty conditions.
