Overview
The Cobalt portrait starting base, black, is the pre-assembled starting support of a portrait row in the Cobalt flat-roof system, in a black version. Cobalt does not publish a separate article number for the black version; the silver portrait starting base is art. 1101800. According to Cobalt, portrait modules make optimum use of the available roof space. Place the base on the roof and rotate the upright 90 degrees upward until it clicks. Subsequent supports are coupled tool-free with a twist-and-click connection: with the portrait connector base (L=2280 mm) or with a starting base combined with the 650 mm connector. The modules are tilted at 10 degrees, the high upright is 400 mm for portrait and the centre-to-centre distance is 2280 mm. Matching portrait parts are the back plate (L=1170 mm), the side plate and the ballast container or ballast tray (L=1162 mm). The system is intended for roofs of 0 to 6 degrees and 30 to 45 mm frames; ballast plan and bill of materials come from CoBuilder. Warranty: 20 years under the Cobalt warranty conditions.
