Overview
The Sungrow SG50CX-P2 is a three-phase string inverter of 50 kW (55 kVA maximum, 83.6 A) for commercial roofs and smaller ground-mounted systems. Four MPPTs with two strings each, MPPT range 160 to 1000 V, max. PV input voltage 1100 V and a recommended PV power of 70 kWp. Efficiency 98.5 % maximum and 98.3 % European. On the V12 version the max. DC connector current depends on the serial number (20 A or 30 A).

Dynamic shading optimisation mode, PID recovery, string current monitoring, smart IV curve diagnosis and AFCI 2.0 are built in, with DC surge protection Type I+II and AC Type II, IP66 and C5 corrosion protection. Communication via RS485, optional WLAN and Ethernet; commissioning via Bluetooth and app, monitoring in iSolarCloud.
Enclosure 645 x 575 x 245 mm, 41 kg, smart forced air cooling and wall mounting with bracket; Evo2 DC connectors. Warranty according to the Sungrow warranty terms for C&I inverters above 20 kW.
