Overview
The Cobalt mounting rail L=1208 mm (art. 8001208) is the extra-strong aluminium rail profile of the Cobalt pitched-roof system; according to Cobalt, this rail requires fewer roof hooks. The rail is placed on the pre-assembled adapter of the roof hook with a twist-and-click movement and secured with a screw connection; the hook spacing is at most 1350 mm and follows from CoBuilder. Rails are joined with the rail coupler and finished with the end cap. Modules with frames of 30 to 45 mm are clamped with the universal middle and end clamps at a 12 mm gap and 5 Nm. Rail length to size: number of modules x (module width + 12 mm) + 60 mm. The same rail is also used in the Cobalt systems for corrugated roofs, roof anchors and ballast-free flat roofs. The tiled-roof system is intended for roof pitches of 10 to 70 degrees and rated for 2500 Pa uplift and 5400 Pa pressure (max. 2.3 m2 module). Warranty: 20 years under the Cobalt warranty conditions.
