Overview
The Kstar WIFI-PLUG5E is the stick logger with Wi-Fi and Ethernet: it twists onto the inverter and sends the data to the Kstar Sync platform every five minutes. It connects via Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, 2.4 GHz) or via a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port. It talks to the inverter over RS-485 at 9600 bps; one logger reads one device. Setup is done via the Bluetooth app or remotely via the server, and the firmware is updated remotely. A hardware and software watchdog monitors operation. The IP65 enclosure measures 150 × 48 × 37 mm, weighs 120 g and has a 4-pin aviation connector with twist lock; operating range −30 to +60 °C at 5 V DC and up to 2 W.
