Sungrow introduces PowerHarbor: the new generation of residential energy storage

With PowerHarbor, Sungrow introduces a new all-in-one energy storage system for homes. The system combines a modular battery concept with smart energy control and is designed to grow with different energy needs.
What is PowerHarbor?
In PowerHarbor, a three-phase hybrid inverter and stacked battery modules form one system. BM Energy supplies the SH10TA, the 10 kW hybrid inverter from the PowerHarbor system, together with the EnergyBridge EB80T. The 10 kWh SMD100 battery module is available separately.
Key characteristics
- SH10TA: three-phase hybrid inverter with 10,000 W rated AC power and three MPPTs
- Battery modules SMD060, SMD090 and SMD100 (6, 9 or 10 kWh nominal), 1 to 6 modules per inverter
- Modules stack on the base without external cables
- Each module has its own battery optimizer; according to Sungrow, modules with a different capacity can be added later
- SMD100: LiFePO4, 9.7 kWh usable capacity, IP66, for indoor and outdoor use
- EnergyBridge EB80T: compact DIN-rail backup switch for the meter cabinet, switchover within 10 ms according to the datasheet
Application for installers
Thanks to the modular battery concept, an installation can start small and be expanded later as the customer's consumption grows. With the EnergyBridge, whole-home backup is possible with one compact module in the meter cabinet. Energy management runs via the iHomeManager Mini, monitoring via iSolarCloud.
When designing a system, check the permitted configurations and firmware versions in the current Sungrow documentation.
