Overview
The KSTAR BC215DE2 is the 215.04 kWh BluePulse outdoor battery cabinet: twelve 17.92 kWh LFP modules with 280 Ah cells in one 768 V cluster, with an operating range of 684 to 864 V. The rated charge and discharge current is 140 A (0.5C); power is limited by the PCS, and KSTAR pairs the cabinet with the KAC50DP2 and the KAC80-125DP2 series. The cabinet monitors cluster voltage and current, cell voltage, cell temperature and ambient temperature, and has its own BMS and EMS unit. An air conditioner cools or heats; carbon monoxide detection, a sound and light alarm, an exhaust fan, an explosion vent and a fire-water inlet serve fire safety. At 1324 × 2415 × 1440 mm, about 2495 kg, IP54 and corrosion class C4 it is installed outdoors at -30 to +50 °C; the noise level is 70 dB. Communication via Ethernet, CAN and RS-485.
