Overview
The KSTAR KAC125DP2 is the 125 kW PCS (hybrid inverter) of the BluePulse series for commercial and industrial storage systems. Eight MPPTs with two strings each (250–950 V, max. 1000 V) accept up to 250 kWp of PV; on the battery side there are two DC inputs of 80 A each for 200 to 950 V. On-grid, the KAC125DP2 delivers 125 kW nominal at a peak efficiency of 98%. Its integrated STS switches the backup output over in about 10 ms when the grid fails (single PCS, purely resistive load), and a genset input is included. The transformerless enclosure measures 1120 × 760 × 365 mm, weighs 135 kg, is rated IP66 and uses intelligent air cooling; communication via RS-485 and CAN. KSTAR pairs the KAC80-125DP2 series with the BC107DE2, BC197DE2, BC120DE2A and BC260DE2A battery cabinet series. Up to 20 PCS run in parallel on-grid, 10 in on/off-grid operation.
