Overview
The KSTAR KAC50DP2 is the 50 kW PCS (hybrid inverter) of the BluePulse series for commercial and industrial energy storage. Four MPPTs with two strings each operate from 250 to 950 V (max. 1000 V) and accept up to 100 kWp of PV; two DC inputs serve the battery within 150 to 950 V. On-grid it delivers 50 kW nominal, 55 kVA maximum, at a peak efficiency of 97.5%. Through the integrated STS the backup output switches over in about 10 ms (single PCS, purely resistive load), and a separate genset input is provided. The transformerless, air-cooled enclosure measures 900 × 730 × 355 mm, weighs 101 kg and is rated IP65; communication via RS-485 and CAN. Up to 20 PCS run in parallel on-grid, 10 in on/off-grid operation. KSTAR pairs the KAC50DP2 with the battery cabinets of the BC107DE2 series and with the BC197DE2 and BC215DE2.
