Overview
The Hyxi HYX-H8K-HS is a single-phase hybrid inverter rated 8 kW (1/N/PE, 220/230/240 V) with 36.3 A nominal and 40.0 A maximum output current. The battery port works from 80 to 490 V with up to 35 A and 8,000 W charge and discharge (LiFePO4). On the PV side it accepts up to 16,000 W of PV power over 2 MPPTs with one string each, MPPT range 80 to 560 V, 600 V maximum input voltage, 50 V start-up voltage and 16 A per MPPT. Maximum efficiency 98.6 percent, European efficiency 98.2 percent, MPPT efficiency 99.9 percent and 97.5 percent for battery charge and discharge.

The backup output delivers 8,000 VA nominal and 9,600 W peak for 10 s and switches over within 10 ms. Hyxi declares this inverter compatible with the H2 high-voltage battery: BDU HYX-EBDU-H2 with HYX-E50B-H2 packs; the number of packs must keep the battery voltage within 80 to 490 V. Enclosure 522 × 416 × 177.6 mm (W × H × D), 20 kg, IP65, natural cooling and wall mounting; operation from -25 to +60 °C up to 4000 m altitude. Communication via CAN, RS485, Wi-Fi, 4G and LAN, control via LED, app and web. Type II DC and AC surge protection, DC switch, insulation monitoring, residual current monitoring and anti-islanding are built in.
